Constant myths people have about girls being tech-savvy

 Explode women-tech Myths :

Am big-eyed when it comes to Tech, willing to traverse more here! Wait, you are a girl! How can you be so curious about Tech?  We live in an era where the gender
differences are quite at a diminishing stage in several fields, but when it comes to“women in tech” there are several myths questioning us fairly to settle that yeah, women are not tech-savvy!

Women just don’t, like it - nothing we can do. god!!! we are on and on hearing these myths rather than focusing on why it is shaping in this mold. Now,exploding these myths we are moving forward to the bridges of these myths, focusing more on the factors which are root cause of these myths .

The tech sector is not an

appealing environment

 for women -

When these types of statements strike us, we have to look at reality. Is that really
true? unfortunately, yes. Only 35% of women according to the Ministry of
Electronics & Information Technology play role in the IT sector. We are doing very less efforts towards this because we are influenced by the society that women just aren't interested in tech, is that so easy to wave a hand at these things like that, let me demonstrate here an example for that , just assume X women is not very much interested in teaching , cooking and in other feminine jobs now ,you might have a question why so? If we ever heard of something like this , we encourage them to explore these fields maybe later on, you will find these things or jobs interesting and pursue your career in these fields . We always Telling them How fascinating is  to teach someone , to become an air hostess and a cook as well what if we also practice these activities and encourage them as well for the tech sector too, think about it! just give a Thought to it, that
you are in a board meeting and your ideas are not being addressed properly just because
you are a female worker that downs up the morale of women who is enthusiastically working for the organization and we are making them feel and rely on this statement that , yeah!! "Tech is not for me", these implementations don’t seem to captivate women in the sector of Tech.

The decorum of sidelining women just not more limited to the professional level it also residing in educational sectors too, if we take an examples of the technical teams for competitions which are organized in our colleges on different levels whether it is hardware related or software , the team formation procedure is quite simple for them because if you ever notice that, there are very few only girls
team in the competitions and majorly the team ups looks full of boys and again very few teams standing there which consist of only one girl as a team member (because of competition necessity) why this? Why we have never seen a team that includes the same numbers of gender, why not a team full of girls and, boys participating with them? Debunking this myth here as per the competitions requires more team -work, responsible team members in which girls are way more good or we can say they can land up a team in a very well way if they gotta chance, girls are more supportive, good in managing the work load, works with more integrity, and disciplined as per studies. Here, Am not saying that only girls possess these traits but if we don’t praise them at their initial stages of learning and building, how they gather up the courage to speak up at big platforms, if they feel so immersed at these stages of life.

When we encourage someone no matter what gender that person has, that builds up a positive aura in them, to do more good in their fields and to leverage the opportunities they might have not discovered because lack of awareness. They more likely to spread their wings for opportunities and their dream of life as well,no matter if that person is female or male.

You can’t balance your tech career,

 family life &

 social life -

All careers require you to make compromises and find a work/life balance
that works for you. It’s been ages that women are in tech giving us major
goals over, with their good settled families as well. Giving this excuse for women that they can't make it happen to manage both then you are highly mistaken here   for any female worker out there. The challenging womans have long faced in balancing work and family & receiving renewed public attention for years, with Hillary Clinton highlighting the issue when she talked about her experiences as a young lawyer and mother at her recent interviews. Women have to suffer more when they have to work with family responsibilities as well, but they know how to manage that and comes up as shining in this sector too.Rather pointing out these problems we need focus more on solutions , how we gonna make them feel more comfortable with these responsibilities & in working environment as well rather than making feel them irresponsible and not applicable for any certain jobs not in tech sectors even in other sectors too.

Women are too emotional

while taking decisions -

Women in tech fields --  or in any leadership positions, really — still face a fear
of judgment for being 'overly emotional.' you have to learn how to be more
assertive and ask for what you want, without worrying what people would
think, feeling like it may be too much and having to apologize for it. There’s
no need to apologize for standing on your ground and asking for what you
 need and deserve!"

People misunderstood the fine line between "empathy" and "being
emotional" and judging  female workers as they were way more emotional to choose
the right options and taking right decisions for the organizations.when you try to listen to someone's problem analyze it accordingly and then try to finding solution for that, I think that’s a very smart move and it is also proven that women take the long-sighted decision for business as well as for the organization in which they are working and that also turns as positive and effective move as well.

By debunking all these myths we are at the end of this but just ask yourself
are you not having any biases over this issue?
Nodding head to this isn’t going to get us anywhere,
They tend to arise from social, cultural ,values, and beliefs and we don’t
even notice them developing around us rapidly – it’s outside of our control
and we don't realize it, But what we can do here is to try and root them out
and acknowledge them how a person is going and doing well in the field so that we can leverage both of them in the Tech sector for more advancements , whether it's a woman or a man. Maybe then we can minimize and debunk or explode these myths which have been planted roots in our mind, or at least make a conscious effort not to pass them on to others as well and this won't happen near around us, with our
fellow classmates or colleagues and others female workers who are
enthusiastically working towards tech sector to contribute and evaluate the
IT sector as well.

Hope you do some efforts for changing these myths around yourself and please share your views as well,  if you ever experienced or have seen something like that around you !
